WELLINGTON MEN'S VETERANS GOLF ASSOCIATION
The Wellington Veterans Golf Association is a member of the New Zealand Veterans Golf Assocation (Inc). You can access their website https://nzvga.co.nz/
The NZ Veterans Golf Association promotes golf for senior members of golf clubs across the country.
Membership
The Wellington Association consists of 14 main golf clubs and a further 4 associate golf clubs in the Wellington area.
- Currently there are about 200 members from the above clubs.
- Qualifying age is 50
- Subscription is $20 per year from 1 January
- Each club has a liaison officer who will facilitate your membership and answer any queries.
Competition Days
- Competition days are arranged usually twice a month, tee off at 10am.
- The main day is Monday, however occasionally other days are programmed.
- The cost for each event can vary depending on the club hosting however $25 will usually cover playing rights and prizes on each course.
- Competitions are all run on Stableford and usually in two Handicap Divisions.
- Entries are made through each club liaison officer.

Start Time : 10.00am except as shown
Registration : 30 minutes before start time
Cancellations : Tournament organisers will notify (e/mail) liason officers the day before so they can inform their respective members. This is because there is now no Radio Cancellation service before 8.40am.
Bookings : All bookings and withdrawals through your club liason officer except on the day of the tournament when you should ring the host Club.
