Manor Park Golf Sanctuary and Wellington Golf are completing final details in readiness for the 2016 Strokeplay, proudly supported by Harcourts Team Wellington and Cardplus Telecommunications, to be held over the weekend of the 24th and 25th September.

The Men play for the G.N.Tustin Cup, first played for in 1955 and won by the late John Durry, who would go on to win 7 times, Royal Wellington's Rodney Barltrop also being a 7 time champion. Players from around NZ have been victorius including Owen Kendall, Steve Alker and Phil Mosley; our neighbours from Manawatu have won several times with Richard Best, Lachie McDonald and Tyler Hodge among others having been succesful.  Wellington Captian Jonno Cane is the 2015 champion. The Women play for the recently added WGI Women's Strokeplay Championship, Gabrielle Palado being the 2015 champion.

This event also serves as qualifying for the Wellington players for the WGI Matchplay to be held at Royal Wellington in November.
