Mornington to celebrate centenary in 2016

Mornington Golf Club and Berhampore Golf Course are turning 100 in early 2016.

To celebrate, Mornington Golf Club has prepared the attached short history on the Berhampore Golf Course, and is busy working on a full history for publication next year.

As the first publicly-owned golf course in New Zealand, the history provides an interesting insight into New Zealanders' attitudes towards golf and its benefits a hundred years ago.
