WN vs. Northland @ Mangawhai

                 Senior Men’s Team to play Northland

 Wellington Golf are pleased to announce their first Senior Men’s selection for 2017, to play against Northland at Mangawhai GC on the 10^th and 11^th of June.

This is a new fixture on the representative calendar, added as the team begins the campaign to again become National Champions, at Mangawhai in December 2017.Convener of selectors John Spraggs has named a strong line-up, which includes several players making their mark locally and nationally.

 Spraggs has named the core of the Championship winning side from 2016, Daniel Hillier who is playing in Japan and Ben Slaven who is travelling overseas being the notable exceptions.

The team will face a Northland side on their home track – a good challenge for Wellington with the obvious benefits of gaining some experience and local knowledge of the venue for the 2017 Toro event.
